Santo Domingo. – This 25th of April, the Tripulante VIP Aeronautical Centre celebrates 13 years of training young people in cabin crew, being pioneers in the country in offering training for flight attendants and pursers (cabin crew) with the necessary permits and licences to operate in the Dominican Republic granted by the IDAC (Dominican Civil Aviation Institute).
Its innovation and extensive track record have allowed it to be the main provider of this aeronautical personnel to the leading airlines in the country; it has a passenger cabin simulator equipped with all the service and emergency equipment on board, with realistic features that enable its students to fulfil all their necessary knowledge without the need to travel to other countries for this practice.
Mr. Alfredo Hernández, CEO of the Centre, has over 30 years of experience in the sector and extensive knowledge of current laws and regulations. He participated in the creation of the regulations that allowed aeronautical centres to train the Dominican population and grant licences to their graduates as cabin crew.
